Lyn Prescott is the store manager for the Performance Saddlefits online store and the team’s saddle ordering manager. She holds 2 saddle fitting qualifications including the Society of Master Saddlers saddlefitting qualification.
Lyn was the SA franchise holder of Performance Saddlefits for 5 ½ years until she had to retire in 2019 for health reasons. Lyn has been riding most of her life beginning at Pony Club and followed by years of pleasure riding before taking up competititve riding again in her late 30's concentrating mostly on dressage.
In February, 2014, Lyn completed her certificate in Saddlefitting Principles through US Equinolgy, conducted by Dr Kerry Ridgeway and in 2016 she made the journey over to the UK and achieved her saddle fitting qualification with the Society of Master Saddlers, which is regarded as the pinnacle of saddle fitting achievement and the result of years of hard work and training. . Along with her ongoing training with Performance Saddlefits founder, Paula Jeffery, and other courses in anatomy, biomechanics, gait analysis and farriery Lyn has developed a deep understanding of the workings of the horse and the interaction of the saddle between horse and rider. She is committed to ongoing research on the latest developments and technology in both saddle fitting and saddlefit related products using her Medilogic pressure testing pad and Seaver Horse girth sleeve.
